I think I listened to this song on my way home from school every time I had a rough day. I remember one time vividly, when the bully and terror boy of our class started bullying me during class (while the teacher ignored it…) I got so frustrated and so angry (and because I verbally wasn’t strong enough yet) I started to hit him with my fists. Not that I was physically any stronger than I was verbally…. But for some reason it intimidated him and he threatened to beat me up after school. Half of the people in my class started laughing at me. Showing feelings and emotions in public is probably very amusing to 14 year olds. I couldn’t do anything but cry and let it all go. Thank god there were a few civilized and nice girls in my class who totally supported what I had done. Even teachers came up to me in the hallway supporting the fact I hit master bully himself. Strangely enough after that certain encounter I never saw him ever again. It was his last day at school, he got kicked out. Thank you Mary!
